Hello to all of our fellow RAC riders and ground trainers.
I am looking forward to this year involving much more riding/training and a LOT less letting other things get in the way, LOL.
This is the first weekend of the year and a very messy one here because, though it is cold, it is still a dangerously messy kind of cold, squishy/slippery clay in some places and rough frozen peaks from hooves making divits in the mud and then it freezing, in others. Wishing we had some of that lovely fluffy snow you all are seeing where you are so we could do some riding. But, I will get in some ground work this weekend none the less.
I want to begin Fifi in earnest this year, as my trainer thinks she is just an awesome horse. She always gets noticed by anyone who visits even though she is "just a sorrel" because of her beautiful conformation. Our trainer is also Emmy's riding instructor and she says she would love to show her so we will see what we can afford to do towards that end, but we will for sure get her trained towards that goal this year.
Well, gonna run to TSC to see if we can find that book on ground work games to help Fifi learn as we play. Have fun everybody!
